Who builds the first working factory?

Build a working cell by racing through a chemical factory. Roll, answer, collect parts and decide how much to risk. At Level 3, complete all 16 systems to win.

Bank it, risk it, or buzz in? Every correct answer earns a prize. Keep it safe—or carry it forward for a bigger reward. When a rival misses, a surprise green light may let you steal their turn.
1 · Roll and explore

Roll two dice, move around the factory and answer a three-choice question. Correct answers earn 1,500 Rays (game money) and may earn a factory part. Easy questions allow 10 seconds, intermediate 20, and advanced 30.

2 · Bank or risk

After a correct answer, take your prize and pass—or carry the prize and parts into your next turn for another question. A wrong answer loses what you carried this turn; banked money and parts stay safe. Your 50,000 starting Rays are in your personal reserve; withdraw them at the corner.

3 · Watch for green

After a miss, there is a 40% chance of a green light. Rivals have 5 seconds to buzz in, then one gets one answer. Right: they take the unbanked prize and parts. Wrong: they lose the unbanked prize, give the original player another system licence—or, if they have none, pay up to 5,000 Rays and miss a turn.

4 · Win systems

Collect two factory parts to unlock system challenges. At an unclaimed system, choose a question challenge or auction for its licence. To complete it, carry a streak of four correct system answers across turns; the fourth is the jackpot. A licence lets its owner complete that system and earns up to 500 Rays when rivals land there.

5 · Build and become champion

Buy proteins and pathways, and choose Safe, Steady or High risk each shift. Luck can bring a breakthrough—or damage factory stability. Complete all 16 systems at Level 3 to win. If the factory shuts down first, the highest score takes the title.

More rules: machines, auctions and final places
  • Protein-machine entry costs 1,200 Rays. Answer three entry questions correctly across your turns to unlock it; a green-light steal can turn a miss into a contested chance.
  • System auctions start at 10% of the listed game value. Each player makes one bid using cash. The winner receives the exclusive licence, but must still land there and win the jackpot to complete the system.
  • The system licence holder collects up to 500 available cash from a player who lands there. Visitors may still answer questions for their own prize.
  • At Level 3, Quality Control has its own 17 checkpoints. Buy entry, then bank the checkpoints over multiple turns to complete that system.
  • If play ends early or Factory Stability reaches zero, highest score wins: cash and banked Rays plus 1,200 points per building point, up to three per factory compartment. Completed systems break ties; a full tie shares the place.
  • Quarantine costs three of your turns or 3,000 Rays. Prices, scores and system values are game rules.
